The VOG Value Index is the feature that pegs the NFT to hard assets. The  VI was used to determine the base distribution of gems within the collection.

Ability to remain intact under pressure

Hardness

A material property the describes resistance to scratching, cutting or abrasion. The higher a materials hardness, the greater the materials ability to retain its shape in the presence of external forces.
Ability to disrupt the crowd

Refractive Index

A measurement of the ratio which the speed of light changes when passing through a material. A higher value indicates a greater affect. This is part of the brilliance of a diamonds shine- literally disrupts light to stop the show.
Ability to generate and retain wealth

Cost Per Carat

A measurement of the average price per carat of a given substance. This is an important component of the index because it ties the materiel science to the economics of valuable minerals and metals to produce a balanced scale representing value and utility.
